The following is an account of the day at the Time Management course at NILS. The class starts at 4 pm and ends at 8:30 pm with a break for thirty minutes. The timeline describes class activities every thirty minutes starting from 4 pm.

4 pm:
The teacher begins the class by explaining Sports Goals. He says Sports Goals can be of two types.
One, where the person or the team wants to achieve legendary status and
two, where the person or the team aims to stay afloat comfortably for a long period of time.

4:30 pm:
Students are working in five different groups. Each group is making a list of goals for a player belonging to a particular sport. The list contains both short term and long term goals. The five sports selected are football, cricket, tennis, chess and swimming.

5 pm:
The students are re-arranging the above noted goals according to
i) those common to all sports or those that are sports specific and
ii) goals to obtain legendary status or goals aiming for long term stability.

5.30 pm:
The students are now analyzing the goals to see if they can be generalized to fit non-sporting careers. The teacher explains how to incorporate defeats and failures in long term goals. Finally the students discuss how they can actually implement Sporting Goals in their lives.
